Sizes of Windflow turbine components for shipping and installation.

Thanks to the load-avoiding design, Windflow turbines are lighter and more compact than conventional three-bladed turbines.  Light and compact makes it easier to deliver the nacelle and blades, as standard trucks can be used.  

The tower sections are relatively light and all tower lifts have been designed for single-crane lifting.  Nacelle and rotor are fully assembled at ground level so the the complete assembly can be lifted onto the tower in one straight-forward lift, something not possible for conventional three-bladed turbines..

Cranes are often the heaviest and widest load, setting the road requirements.  Windflow turbines require a smaller crane compared to a similar sized three-bladed turbines. Widening, straightening and strengthening of public access roads are unlikely to be required and, typically, existing farm tracks do not need to be modified.
