Windflow is committed to achieving and maintaining the highest standards in product quality.

In September 2010, Lloyd's Register awarded its Type Approval Certificate to the Windflow 33-500 turbine (denoted "Windflow 500" at the time). Certification confirmed that the design meets Class 1A of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) design standard governing wind turbines: IEC 61400-1, edition 3. This is the same international design standard used by multi-megawatt wind turbines around the world.

In 2015, Windflow released the Windflow 45-500, designed for IEC Class 2A wind conditions. This has been designed on similar principals to the Class 1A turbine and is expected to gain IEC type certification in the future.
