Christchurch windmill manufacturer, Windflow Technology is one of the companies chosen by the New Zealand Stock Exchange as its "1st XV" on the new NZAX Alternative Market which is designed to provide an alternative for fast-growing and high-potential enterprises.

"We acknowledge the confidence placed in us in gaining this listing," said Windflow Chair, Barrie Leay. "We have exciting plans for growth over the next 12 months, and this listing will assist us immeasurably to achieve those plans."

The company began trading on the new exchange earlier this week after a meeting of shareholders confirmed the Directors' decision to list on NZAX.

The company sees the listing as an important step in floating NZ Wind Farms Limited (an associated company) to establish and manage windfarms using Windflow machines.

"The demand for windpower in New Zealand is growing exponentially, and we are determined to be part of that growth," said Mr Leay.
