Visit the Gebbies Pass wind turbine
Come see Neil, the Windflow 500 turbine, located at Gebbies Pass
Sunday 5 December 2010 and Sunday 6 February 2011 between 3-5pm
Meet at the Wheatsheaf Tavern in Teddington.
Every half hour (3.00, 3.30, 4.00 and 4.30 pm) there will be transport up to the turbine, where Windflow staff will be on site to explain how the turbine works. After the visit there is transport back to the tavern.
Before or after the turbine visit you can watch a short introductory video about Windflow and the wind turbine in the tavern.

To get to Wheatsheaf Tavern in Teddington, there are two main ways.
1. From the south-west of Christchurch, take highway 75 to Akaroa and turn left on Gebbies Pass Road just pass Motukarara and drive all the way down to Teddington. The tavern is just on the left of the intersection of Gebbies Pass Road and the main road between Lyttleton and Diamond Harbour.
2. From south of Christchurch, go up Dyers Pass Road and follow the main road towards Diamond Harbour. The Wheatsheaf Tavern is on the right at the intersection of this road and Gebbies Pass Road.
