Wind Farms
This page provides links to the three wind farm development projects using Windflow 500 wind turbines and a link to a wind resource assessment service offered by Windflow for potential new wind farm sites.
Gebbies Pass
The first Windflow 500 (the company's prototype machine), was installed at Gebbies Pass in 2003.
Te Rere Hau
Windflow is supplying Windflow 500 wind turbines to the 48.5 MW wind farm Te Rere Hau, developed by NZ Windfarms Ltd.
The first 5 turbines have been fully operational since 2006. The last stage is expected to be completed in 2010.
Long Gully
This is a proposed small (up to 12.5 MW) local wind farm in Long Gully near Wellington that Windflow is developing for Mighty River Power.
Prospective Wind Farms
If you think you have a site available for a wind farm, have a look at our wind resource assessment service.
