Investment Milestones
Windflow has sucessfully raised new capital through several rights issues and option exercises over the years. Furthermore, in 2008 Mighty River Power became a 19.95% cornerstone shareholder.
September/October 2011
Windflow raised $2 million through its Share Purchase Plan and private placements.
November/December 2010
Windflow raised in excess of $3.3 million through its 1 for 2 Renounceable Rights Issue (including $1 million from the partial underwrite by Aeolian Property Company Limited).
September/October 2008
Windflow raised $10.3 million through the September options exercise, private placements, and the Mighty River Power share purchase.
June 2008
The company announced on 30 June 2008 an agreement with the State Owned Enterprise Mighty River Power Ltd under which Windflow will construct a wind farm for Mighty River Power using Windflow 500 turbines. Furthermore, there will be a cornerstone share issue to Mighty River Power in October 2008 giving Mighty River Power 19.95% of Windflow's issued capital post the exercise of the 2008 Options.
November 2007
Windflow Technology made a 1 for 4 rights
issue to existing shareholders at NZ$3.00 a share. This was fully subscribed and raised NZ$5.04
million.
May/June 2005
The company made a 1 for 2
renounceable rights issue to existing shareholders at NZ$2.30 a share. This
raised NZ $3.3 million.
November 2003
Windflow Technology migrated from the USM
to become one of the "1st XV" companies on the newly formed NZAX
(alternative exchange) of the New Zealand Exchange.
August/September 2003
The company made a 1 for 1 renounceable
rights issue to existing shareholders at NZ$2.00 a share. This raised NZ $5
million.
April 2003
The company registered on the Unlisted
Securities Market (USM) of the New Zealand Exchange, so that its shares could be
more easily bought and sold.
September 2001
Windflow Technology’s initial share offer
closed on September 28, 2001 with subscriptions at nearly NZ $2.6 million. This enabled the company to design and
construct the first Windflow 500 turbine which was installed at Gebbies Pass
near Christchurch
in 2003.
